Channels and chat in the app

Conversations are organized in the app in two different ways. You can use direct messages (via the contacts menu) or participate in conversations in channels. There are several types of channels,

Public:

Anyone has access to this channel. Anyone with a companion radio set to this frequency can write anything on this channel. The conversation is not encrypted.

Hashtag Channel:

Non encrypted, public channel, created for a specific purpose, anyone who knows the channel name can join it. There are two # channells in our Madrid: #bot and #test.

To join the # channel

• Select menu

• Add channel

• Join channel

• Enter the channel name

There's a bot active on these two channels that will automatically respond to a few basic commands, useful for testing. Type "help" to see a list of available commands.
